Colleton house
10.0Due to a issue with Poppythorn cottage we were moved to Colleton we were advised of this prior to our visit via text. Very good communication throughout our stay. Staff were so helpful and quick in responding to our queries. Stunning location, we stayed for 2 nights, wish we had booked for longer! Cottage was extremely clean inside, a few weeds outside but not a big issue. Perfect and secure for my Dog. 5 minute drive to Alston where there were a couple of the pubs open and nice gift shops. The nearby waterfall is worth a visit. I would definatly return.

8.0Spacious and clean with plenty of nice quality bed linen and towels . Quiet , rural location with local walks.
− Outside areas had lots of quite steep steps , so young children needed constant supervision . Also a pond which we blocked off with a makeshift barrier.Not a suitable property for anyone with mobility issues.
