Very calming and peaceful in the heart of the country and watching how they work on a farm makes me realise how greatful
10.0Good old fashioned Farm cottage with a nice Log fire. Spacious with two Toilets and plenty of Toilet Roll which you don’t get at many places.
− The was not very hot and all the numbers had rubbed off so it was hard to see if the temp was high or low. Took ages to cook suggest bringing an air fryer maybe for quickness but apart from that all the rest was fine.
Great stay
9.0Utterly charming, welcoming lovely people and location. We were even given the opportunity to help around the farm which thrilled the kids no end. Made our stay so special.
− The cottage we were in did need a bit of updating. However, we were offered a more modern one. So it was our choice to stay in the older style cottage. I just thought it was more charming. You can see it a work in progress but plenty comfortable and sweet.
Great place to stay, lovely views and not far from minehead.
8.0Delightful place to stay, lovely little open fire and great views. Lots to do on the farm, and staff were ever so friendly.
− Travelled with a disabled child and not very suitable but many places are not ideal, however lots of views to look at.
Basic but comfortable, with lovely countryside views
7.0Flexible accommodation, we had 2 rooms, that could sleep up to 4 people each. Adequate kitchen and bathroom. A highlight, was a tour of the working farm, where we saw cows and sheep. Friendly horses. Beautiful views!
− It was quite a climb to the accommodation in the car. A couple of things were broken - a plug socket one of the bedrooms, an arm of a chair, which are easily fixed or replaceable.
