Lovely location and staff, room great, bathroom not so good.
7.0Staff were extremely helpful and charming. Lovely location and on the 3 rd floor great sea view. If you like an English breakfast, it was magnificent.
− The room was tired and the bathroom needed refurbishing. The toilet was not attached to the floor and the water in the shower was sporadic both in temperature and in there being any water!

8.0Location was perfect for us and our dog. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Bar area and restaurant were good and very clean.
− From the booking.com information we thought as we had a dog the room would be on the ground floor but we were in room 310 on the third floor. There was a lift so we managed but being in the eves of the property and both being tall the head height in the bathroom was not adequate. This does not mean we would not return though, only that we would ask for a room with more headroom.
Warm and welcoming
8.0Staff were very accommodating under the hot weather. The bar was open and lots of ice which were useful to keep cool. I asked for fan and it was provided very quickly. Breakfast was surperb! Prime location for parkrun goers and any events at the Ocean or even the Exmouth Festival.
− There was no lock on my window which was little unsettling to leave valuable things behind.
