− Hard to watch tv
Enjoyed the casual atmosphere of the hotel and the area, but found the no-show chef inconvenient.
7.0Meals at the hotel restaurant were good when available, but when the chef was a no-show, the cold food for breakfast was not good, and the only other option for dinner was the Chinese take out up the road.
− While it is convenient to have a restaurant in house, especially as there aren't other options in Scalloway, the chef lacks transportation and at times doesn't show up. That happened twice during our six days. We were directed to get take out Chinese from up the road. The bar is available to all locals as well as hotel guests and at times was extremely busy and very loud.
