− Facilities were old and tired,
A complete and utter scam. The room was completely different from the pictures. The "spa" is gritty.

− I hate leaving bad reviews and in fact I think this is the first one. This hotel was a scam. The room we were given was completely different from the photos on the website. It was gritty, and the bathroom especially was not at all appropriate. When I expressed our concerns to reception, they shrugged and said they couldn't do anything about it. At check-out, I was asked if everything was alright, and when I said that we were given a room that was completely different from what we booked but we were on our way to somewhere else so couldn't really go back home, the receptionist said "That's all good then." No comment.
Good for a bed for the night but overall very poor property
5.0Room away from main house with garden view was nice and lovely surroundings.
− Property needs a lot of work and better management. Was declined getting in our room early as was still being cleaned but we looked and saw the cleaning had been done! Swimming pool was closed for maintenance on a Saturday?! No dedicated restaurant, just a garden cafe which was nice but for a property like this, you'd expect some fine dining!
Good to know
The Garden Café is currently operating a limited service for Food & Beverage. Breakfast is continental only, grab and go breakfast can also be provided on request. Full English Country Breakfast is served on Saturdays and Sundays. We also offer a small selection of hot, soft and alcoholic drinks. Please contact the property for further information. We do not currently have a Bar or Restaurant available in The Manor House Building.
We are able to accommodate small toy dogs (Under 10kg) on request in our Garden Rooms only. A supplement of £20.00 per night is applicable and paid direct to the property on check in. Dogs are not permitted in The Club, The Hayloft Spa or Garden Café for hygiene reasons. Please inform us in advance if you will be brining a dog. Please note cats or any other type of pet will not be accommodated under any circumstances. Guide & Service Dogs are exempt from this policy and charges on production of correct paperwork.
The Garden Double Rooms are located in a separate Annex Building and not the main Manor House. Not recommended for lone female travelers.
Children's Swimming times are as follows: Monday to Friday 4pm to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 9.30am till 10.30am and 4pm till 5pm.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
