10.0We had a great stay in Leticias Guest House. We booked a double room with shared bath/toilet. We came early in the morning with the boat from Iquitos/Peru. The Guesthouse is close to the central parque, so you can take a TukTuk or even walk. The Owner, Adriana was very friendly and so helpfull with all our needs. So she made us a real delicius breakfast, and fixed up the room, so that we could get in early. Also she gave us some advise for activities for the next days. The Guesthouse is close to the center of Leticia. So you can easily go shopping, gave a Coffee or icecream, walk to restaurants or the parque Santander - watching the parots We realy enjoyed our stay and give a clear recommandation

Welcoming Stay with Authentic Amazon Vibes
9.0Leticia Guest House offers a warm and welcoming stay in the heart of the Amazon. Adriana, who runs the place, is incredibly kind and helpful. She goes above and beyond to assist with anything you need, from recommending tours and local restaurants to tailoring a delicious breakfast to your dietary preferences. The location is also excellent – just a 5-minute walk from the square, 10 minutes from the port, and next to the police station, making it safe to walk around even at night. Plus, it’s only 15 minutes taxi ride from the airport. The guest house has a swimming pool, hammocks, and a relaxed vibe, making it an excellent spot to meet fellow travelers and start exploring the Amazon. I end up staying 4 days doing day tours.
− The accommodations are quite basic with a rustic charm – nothing fancy. You can hear everything around you, but that’s part of the Amazon experience!

− The air circulation in the room was very poor. So I felt extremely hot at all times. It was 36 degrees during my stay and it was impossible to make the room cool down. Proper fans would make the difference between a great and an exceptional stay.
