Beautiful views, and a modern room with a terrace. The staff were amazing, and helped carry our luggage to the accommodation from their sister hotel 'the Water' where we checked in. The Rock was in a perfect location for us, close enough to the port for convenience, but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. We loved early morning swims at Plakes which was a few minutes walk away.

− We arrived early, and asked if we could leave our luggage which was no problem and greatly appreciated. Despite the staff being extremely helpful and friendly, they informed us check in would actually be delayed by two hours. This was a little disappointing, and meant we were hung around for a while.

El departamento estaba muy bien ubicado, remodelado hace poco. Muy bien!

− Tenía muy mala ventilación, porque no tiene ventanas. La única abertura es la puerta vidriada, por lo que si cerrabas la puerta no podías ventilar la habitación. Raro.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at The Rock Suites in Skiathos. The property is modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean, with a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, and everything was maintained to a very high standard. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to Skiathos Town, restaurants, and nearby beaches. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay at The Rock Suites again. Highly recommended!

This review is continuing from the booking of The Water of Aria Hotels at Hontel.com. Aria Hotels owns both The Rock and The Water. So at The Water the the bathroom is small and has not place to hang all your wet items. There is an extendable wire for 1 towel, but it was broken. So was the toilet paper holder. It was just hanging out of the wall and could fall off at any time. The mirror was annoyed and looked terrible. The shower is so small and has no curtain, so the floor is wet everywhere. The drain was not working so you had a small puddle too. This we informed the reception. Luckily, they were able to fix it. The reception was just outside our room “W”. So when you open the door you were 1.5m from the receptionist (Mariela). Problem here is that the door is made of very cheap cardboard and not sealed, so you can here everything. It was like the people on the other side of the door were actually in your room. It was terrible, and guests started first thing in the morning to complain about the rooms, noise, fungus, etc etc. So, if it was not the noise from the bar, then it was from the reception and guests. I feel so sorry for Mariela. Only positive things to say are. 1. Aircon is extremely quiet 2. Firm beds 3. View from terrace 4. Smell of the soap Conclusion. Do not book this “hotel” (room) The Water. If you choose to stay at The Water, then at least make sure you get a room in the basement or first floor away from the reception. I think the basement has the fungus problems. If you still want to support Aria Hotels, then book The Rock. Bigger room, more space, regular fridge, spacy bathroom but no sitting terrace. It has a nice view though. Please note that the reception for The Rock is at The Water 😉

Sehr schöne Lage in der Altstadt - toller Balkon mit Meer- und Inselblick, Sehr freundliches Personal hat uns geholfen die Koffer die vielen Stufen hinaufzutragen. Es gibt ein sehr nettes Frühstückslokal mit Buffett direkt unterhalb der Wohnungen mit ebenfalls tollem Blick und sehr schattig.

− Die vielen Stufen sind nichts für ältere Leute oder Personen mit Einschränkungen. Kleiner Tipp: Wirklich nur dass Notwendigste in den Koffer packen.. Das Bad in der unteren Wohnung ist zwar sehr schön aber auch sehr klein und schräg geschnitten ohne Duschtüre..

The glorious view. The very nice balcony and a comfortable bed plus the lounge area making the room feel spacious.

− The shower door seal leaked so the bathroom tended to flood, an additional bathmat was provided on request, Some minor maintenance was required. Although we should have had daily housekeeping this didn't happen every day.
