Nightmare
1.0We stayed as a family at Dumba Bay from 16 to 21 July 2026, mainly for the calm advertised at booking. In reality, several nights were ruined by drunk guests shouting, slamming doors and vomiting between 1–3 am, with bottles and cigarettes left around our accommodation the next morning. On one of these nights, around 1 am, I personally had to confront the intoxicated guests myself, at my own risk, because no effective action was taken to stop the disturbance. The staff on site were very friendly and did what they could, but they seemed completely dependent on top management based in Kuala Lumpur, who have not even answered my emails about this situation. Despite multiple reports, no clear rules or effective action were implemented to protect guests’ rest, and a last‑minute room change for our final night did not compensate for the stress and lack of sleep throughout the stay. We do not recommend this hotel to travellers looking for a quiet environment or serious management of noise and guest behaviour.

− Abbiamo prenotato una camera matrimoniale standard dall’Italia ma non sono molto chiare le foto da Booking. Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo scoperto che ci sono tre differenti tipologie di ‘bungalow’ il nostro era il più ‘scarso’ rispetto agli altri: posizione sempre ottimale praticamente sul lungomare, però molto angusto, piccolo, umidità 100%, pieno di formiche per cui abbiamo chiesto un prodotto che ci è stato dato. Il ristorante è aperto solo la sera, molti piatti presenti nel menù non li hanno

Passable for a short trip. Offers everything you need.
5.0Close to an amazing beach. Restaurant in front of the resort. The resort offers snorkeling trips. Breakfast was okay and the surrounding offers everything you need for a short trip.
− Many aunts inside of the guest house. No soap. Doors weren’t properly locked (feels a little unsafe). All in all, it’s okay because there aren’t many other options at this place of the island.
