Poor room maintenance

4.0

The bedroom area is spacious and has cool AC. It also has available tables and chairs.

The place is not clean. There's no available floormat upon arriving. We've also noticed that the coffee cups in our room are already used since there's coffee marks in the cup, unwashed. The shower area has a leak from the roof and there was a puddle of dirty water on the drainage. I also noticed a lot of discolorations or dirt on the Cr tiles. (I did not bother to swatch it because it seems like dirt) Overall , it seems that the place has poor maintenance and it is sad that I have to put this low score for the first time since I started using booking.com 4 years ago.

FAMOUS BACKPACKERS` GROTTO IN THE BUSY CAPITAL OF PALAWAN!!!

8.0

A great place to crash a night after a long flight from/to Europe or directly from beautiful Palawan. The place is barely a 1 or 2 km from the airport, which makes this choice obvious. Nobody can beat thier prices for a fairly good, almost almost european level of service. You are quite close to the center of Puerto Princessa and famous Unesco Underground River, plus also next to all the resturants, services, banks, shops that You could imagine. Many foreign tourists-oriented souvenir shops or similar services just along the main, so You can always walk 200 or 300 metres to be in the centre of action. Tricycle/rickshaw/jeepney stops are just outside the place. We used the hotel as a base to visit nearby attractions and it served us well. The guys at the reception made everything possible to make us feel happy and satisfied. Our room was quite big, with some extra area. The bed was extremely comfortable and well chilled. The price is unbeatable in a greater Puerto Princess city! They know what western tourists need and are accustomed to them, so You can expect a really good treatment and understanding of all Your wishes ! We were also able to make an early check-in! Would love to visit them again! Thans for all the hospitality Guys!

No issues during our stay, all was perfect!

If your budget is tight it’s good for a night

4.0

The location was convenient

There are no windows, only sliding shutters which stay partially open, so the roosters and dogs are very loud, I was woken up at 4am from the roosters every morning and found it difficult to sleep (even with ear plugs)! The rooms are dirty, dirt that accumulates over weeks or months or ignoring cleaning.. not days. There is no breakfast (breakfast was advertised). There is a kitchen that was shared with guests, but I was told I’d be charged a fee per day to use it. The water in the sink and shower was very oily and smells of sulfur. Using the air conditioner shook the room with a loud motor sound.

Nada

Not bad if the stay is not on rainy days

6.0

I like that there is a common kitchen though we discovered it on our last day. Free hot water we can access all day. It SERVED US VERY MUCH . During our stay was the start of heavy rain season and we have seniors and young kids with us. The hot water station helped in having a warm shower. Within walking distance along the road are bakery, laundry, stores, grills and few restaurants. Mall is short tricycle ride which was our saviour during typhoon, river cruise was cancelled so we watched movie and killed our time inside the mall. I like that they have big fridge in the room.Staffs are friendly and helpful.

There is no clear signage of the INN. The cab driver was not very familiar of the place, it took us a while to find the small un marked alley to the Inn. Also, it was petty that the shower room was large but dirty due to the rotten leaves from the trees and party rotten wood(?) frame falling inside the shower room.It would be wonderful to have the common courtyard to be covered.
