Definitely style over substance

− The dangerous 'stairs' up to the bed bit. Looked like a load of IKEA cubes stacked on top of each other. Really difficult to climb up them. It was filthy, and behind the toilet seat was disgusting, fridge filthy and smelly. Filthy cushions on the settee. Said 2 bed but was just the one, thin mattress on the floor. The sheet was ripped and there was no top sheet, just 2 thin, tiny throws that didn't look very clean. Tried to have something to eat, but there were only 2 forks but no knives, one spoon, no bowls. The air conditioning unit was in the worst place possible. Two feet over the bed. It would have been on top of a headboard if they had bothered to put one there. The light switches were all downstairs, meaning if you were in bed watching the tv, you had to go down the cubes and climb back up in the dark. It could have been so much better. It was like a lot of thought had gone into the decorating ie the nice lamp, mirror and coffee table, with the artistically draped bit of rope across from the fan to the lamp, but really a bit more thought could have gone into the stuff mentioned above. Outside the unit was a dumping ground for old chairs, kitchen equipment and furniture.
