Areas for Improvement to Better Reflect a Better Experience

A perfect blend of great surroundings, wonderful people, and a welcoming ambiance.

− While there were aspects of the stay that I enjoyed, there were also a few disappointments. First, the menu selection was quite limited. I ordered the Davao crab dish, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor and did not meet expectations. Considering the price, it felt like a poor value for money. Second, if the second-level pool is exclusively reserved for villa guests, this should have been clearly communicated during check-in. We were excited to use the facility, only to be informed by the lifeguard that access was restricted. For a 5-star hotel, this is a basic service detail that should have been handled proactively to avoid guest inconvenience and disappointment. Better communication and attention to these details would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

I liked how naturally beautiful the resort was, having access to the private beach, staff for the most part were friendly, the happy hour, and the rooms and views were gorgeous.

− Many bathrooms onsite (even the restaurant) had no running water or were not working, which is disappointing for a 5 star hotel. There’s also no communication or sign showing the upper level pools are for villa guests only. It’s so embarrassing that they encourage you to explore the grounds but then you get sent away. There’s not a map provided either, so it’s easy to misunderstand what amenities are available to you. And for $200+ a night, you think you would have access to the property you are paying for. But if not, at least communicate that with people upfront.

Great for family except the “Kids Club”

This resort has its own Welcome Center that welcomes guests to travel to the island. They have taken care of our large suitcases from point A to B without a problem. Me and my family needed this hospitality and attention to details especially with our needs and requests. Resort staffs were very helpful and are open to help you about anything. We traveled with a 6yr old kid and having multiple choices of pool and beach is such a fun experience for her and for us. Their heated pool is also a recommended dip. They have 6 lifeguards on site and multiple services available. When it’s not busy, they clean the beach and remove the wastes drifting inside the vicinity. I was impressed on how detailed they are with it.

− Their “Kids Club” is just a parent- supervised play area on what they call “Sandbox” and we were disappointed that it is not what it’s expected to be. We expected that it’s a day club where children can play and enjoy games with a dedicated resort teachers or experts. We raised this concern to their team but I hope they taken appropriate action to correct this misunderstanding. Also in the Sandbox they assigned a person whom clueless about what she’s doing or even aware of where she is. I ask her things and her answers are always “I don’t know”, “ they haven’t told me what to do”, “I am not sure”, “I will call someone who knows” 🙂‍↔️As a parent to enter such location, I’m very worried to allow this personnel to enter and let her supervise the premise. I bet she doesn’t know children basic first aid. But I hope that they improve this topic as soon as possible. Then I can and will surely recommend this place with my European friends.
