A perfect modern countryside retreat.
10.0Such a peaceful location away from everything while still being close to a town centre. A modern, cosy cottage with excellent amenities including high-quality cookware, appliances, and linen. The bed was so comfy. The breakfast items were delicious. The view of green hills and passing birds was exactly what I needed. The sheltered spa was sublime. Shona couldn’t have been a better host, especially considering the torrential rain she had to wade through to meet me. It was a perfect mindful retreat. I’ll definitely be back.
− All I’ll add is it’s worth bringing slippers in winter, as the floor can get a bit cold.

9.0The cottage, beddings and kitchen wares were very clean. The hosts provided more than enough food for breakfast and some condiments for cooking. Cutleries and cook wares are very good quality. So good to hear different birds at night and early morning. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
− Maybe a bit of lighting so it's easier to see the address when driving in from the main road at night.
A peaceful and picturesque location. Host extremely helpful and friendly atmosphere.
