The location on the river was very peaceful!
6.0The location was a bit challenging to get to, but a beautiful spot on the river. We were there for VT graduation, so we did not fish
− This may seem silly but instructions to operate the TV would have been helpful. And the lack of cell service.
Perfect family getaway
10.0The perfect place for a weekend getaway. Has everything you need and more. The house itself is cute and comfortable. Equipped with everything you need so you don't need to leave if you don't want to. The view is absolutely amazing. Such a perfect relaxing getaway home.

10.0The cabin had just enough room for our family of four and absolutely stunning views of the river. The kayaks are a great addition as well. We loved the riverside setting outside of the city, but within 15 minutes of restaurants and coffee shops. We were visiting for a tour of Virginia Tech, which was extremely close by and easily accessible. The cabin was clean and cozy (with a hot tub on the deck that we didn't realize it had until we arrived)!

9.0Comfortable house, set on a beautiful riverside, nice back deck. Rural area away from the bustle of the city, but there’s a Walmart nearby. Host is customer-focused and does things to help make your stay nice. Like have a Brita pitcher in the fridge, canoes, hot tub.
− This worked out fine for us, but note that one of the bedrooms and one bathroom is in a separate smaller building. It’s just like 8 steps from the other cabin so not a big deal but good to know.
