5.0Rooms were comfortable and well furnished. Location was on the outskirts of the main town, hence it was very quiet. Sleep was good as a result for the family.
− 1.Basic amenities that were supposed to provided were lacking (toiletries set such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kit). 2. Breakfast was poor/mediocre - while the coffee was great, the items available in the breakfast spread were poor. Furthermore, once the items were finished on the table (eg: bread, croissants), they were not replenished! Strange rules existed such as scrambled/cooked eggs were provided only on weekends, but not on weekdays! And none of these breakfast rules were informed upfront to hotel guests. 3. I also felt the staff were poorly trained - I received conflicting information depending on the person manning the desk on the 2 days I stayed there with my family. For instance, on day 1, I was informed that I would be charged a flat fee of 15 CHF for my car parking during my stay. On the day of checkout, I was charged double that amount (ie: CHF 15 was the per day parking rate). When I informed the staff member of this negative experience upon checkout, the response I received was very unimpressive - " I cannot be responsible for what my colleagues have said. I am sorry you had this experience." This kind of lack of accountability or customer friendliness/service left a bitter taste in mouth. Overall, the quality of my stay was not in line with the price charged. I would NOT recommend this hotel for a leisure stay, or stay with family.
