Wry clean and a really comfortable stay after a day of travelling

This property was fantastic! We were four couples staying for a long weekend in Sheffield, and it was ideal for us. It's about half an hour to walk into the centre of the city, although Ubers are very reasonably priced (about £6). There was a massive sofa in the living room, a big TV and a huge and very well-equipped kitchen. Three of the four bedrooms are very well-sized, the fourth one is a bit smaller but still comfortable, and two of the bedrooms also have en suites. The communication from the owners was outstanding throughout, the check-in and check-out process was extremely straightforward and we all got the sense that the owners really cared about us having a great stay. We are already planning a return visit for the same time next year, and wouldn't hesitate to book this place again.

− If I was being super-critical I'd say it wasn't the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on, although I got a good night's sleep every night and everyone else in the group was also happy with their beds. It would have been great if the long grass in the back garden had been mowed, and the ceiling in the living room could do with a lick of paint in places, but these are very minor suggestions that didn't detract from a fantastic weekend away at an incredibly reasonable price.

Great two night stay with 3 teen- adult children, every one appreciated having their own space but with a comfortable communal space to be together. Surprisingly spacious, clean and tidy and no fighting for the bathroom. Convenient for the city centre, the university and botanical gardens. Hosts responsive to emails/messages.

− A dinning table would have been a bonus, but not really a criticism as it wasn't advertised as having one. On a two night stay we coped without and didn't cook loads.
