6.0La casa si trova a Finikia, un caratteristico villaggio a pochi minuti a piedi da Oia, dove si respira ancora l’atmosfera autentica di una Santorini meno turistica. La disponibilità della proprietà e la bellezza della struttura e del luogo meriterebbero un giudizio molto positivo se non fosse invadente un aspetto negativo importante: l’umidità. Nonostante una ventola e un piccolo deumidificatore, l’ambiente rimane sempre umido, soprattutto la zona interna dove sono sistemati sia il letto matrimoniale sia la nicchia che funge da armadio: le lenzuola sono sempre umide, come i vestiti che si lasciano appesi; dal soffitto, sul quale sono visibili tante macchie di umidità, cadono frammenti di vernice, mentre dal pavimento affiora l’acqua in diversi punti. Peccato, perché l’appartamento è molto spazioso, sia interamente che esternamente: il cortile è ampio e consente di godere di un confortevole relax, la zona bagno è molto ampia (anche se noi italiani sentiamo la mancanza del bidet!) e la doccia comodissima, l’angolo cottura presenta l’indispensabile per organizzare un pasto semplice (un piano cottura mobile ad induzione e un piccolo forno a microonde), il frigo è capiente, le prese di corrente, inoltre, sono disseminate ovunque.
