Lovely House for families

Spacious bedrooms Well supplied for everything you need as a family. Nice hot tub Good location for Teignmouth and other areas.

− A little maintenance needed to windows in some bedrooms. Freezer not great No recycling facilities sadly.

Cleanliness & maintenance issues let it down.

The interior is modern in style, open plan with a well appointed kitchen. The 4 upstairs bedrooms & 2 bathrooms are spacious. It’s light and airy throughout.

− Cleanliness & poor maintenance are an issue. These have been raised in other reviews across the various platforms and yet nothing has changed. Two defects were dangerous - the gate doesn’t latch so swings open on to a main road and one of the kitchen bar stools has lost 2 of its bolts, making it highly likely to tip backwards. The 5th bedroom downstairs was unusable as there was no mattress, only bare sofa bed springs. There were numerous issues regarding poor cleaning, again, this has been raised in previous reviews. If using booking .com, prepare to be inundated with requests for payment (of a higher amount) from the property agents. We didn’t use the “hydropool / spa” aka hot tub and left a day earlier than we’d booked.

Great house - close to a pub/restaurant & supermarket

Good location and spacious. Great hot tub. Little chill out room with TV. Table football was fun.

− Freezer was iced up, no cloths or kitchen rolls to wipe up spills. I know the house is up for sale and there are a few jobs could do with sorting whilst still having guests renting - front had fallen off drawers in 1 bedroom. There were no complimentary toiletries!

Great modern house in an ideal location to explore Devon

We stayed here with another family, the house provided us with everything necessary to make our stay comfortable including a welcome pack, kitchen essentials and a selection of board games. We would absolutely return if the issues below were addressed.

− 1. The garden was not fully secure. We had three dogs with us (small to medium in size) all of which could have easily gotten under the driveway gate. 2. One of the bedroom windows was faulty meaning it could not close fully. This made our February stay an exceptionally cold one at night time. Luckily we had brought blankets but it was still cold. 3. The downstairs patio doors allowed rain water to pour in during the wet weather.
