Location good but not for older guests.

Very convenient for location we required. Lovely property but could do with an update in various areas.

− Stairs to top floor (attic rooms) were very hard to manage but also no toilet on top floor. the overall property was not very clean apart from the beds which were. The property was very dusty and between the cushions on sofa were very bitty with crumbs. Hot tap in sink turned so not able to use very easy. It was a very hot week and the aga was on all the time so made it very hot in lounge, with no fan on ground floor. The fan on front top floor bedroom didn't work so needs looking at. Windows on all floors not easy to use.

loved the property it was in a great location and had everything we needed.

− The aga cooker was something we wasn’t used to but not a complaint more of a learning curve

− A music venue just outside the property had an event on the Sunday from 4 til 11. This was extremely loud and obviously went on for many hrs! I realise that nobody can legislate for things outside of the property but that is why we put good not excellent

The property was lovely and inviting when we arrived felt very homely lots of space very comfy ..

Location was very good central to shops and heritage railway

− Stairs lots of them and steep not suitable for elderly or anyone with mobility problems,bathroom on first floor bedroom 2 and 3 up another level,I did not research the property enough to realise this,we actually left a day early as worn out
