Lovely property in charming village
9.0The property is immaculately turned out, very stylish, spacious and really good quality. The location is ideal for exploring the harbour and surrounding areas.
− The operating company, Host & Stay, asked me to fill in a form to register my details (which they were already provided by Booking.com) in order to attempt to obtain a security and damage deposit from me. The form they sent me only had option of £300, refunded in 14 days, or a £30 non refundable waiver. It was only when I queried this that they sent me a new form where I could opt out of this payment.
A very costly and very showy house with many impracticalities and drawbacks. Would not recommend.
5.0− A mistake to have gone via booking.com to then have to deal with Host and Stay as well. Communication was therefore convoluted, complicated and poor. Very difficult to get answers to our questions when we were travelling not helped by QR codes. One tea towel and half a J cloth was not sufficient for a 9 night stay! Not even salt and pepper. Laughable that we were asked to pay c35 pounds extra to enter one hour early. We only found out about that after our arrival so fortunately we had entered at 4.10pm! No hot water for 18 hours - we understood from the plumber that the boiler had not been serviced correctly. One easy chair only for four people or you sat in a straight line on very deep, impractical couches. Back space looked like a prison exercise yard with a view of four dustbins. Totally unusable.

− The rear folding doors need attention as I fixed the seal as best I could as it fell out, the door key is bent with a risk of breaking. Only one remote control for the bedroom tvs.
