Amazing villa in great location

The villa is beautifully designed - a little oasis, with amazing garden and interior. It is in a really convenient location, close to the beach and all the restaurants/cafes yet feels secluded and private. Highly recommend and the staff were so helpful and lovely. Such a great spot to explore the islands from.

My 7 night stay at Artist villa was above and beyond amazing!! On arrival I was greeted by a lovely Balinese lady name Ita who was exceptionally helpful and friendly. On checking in I realised I had booked an oasis!! As you enter the property you are surrounded by private, lush, tropical gardens. Inside the gorgeously crafted traditional joglo was a unique and spacious home that was thoughtfully decorated with lovely artworks, hand crafted furnishings, and an exceptionally comfortable bed. A painted wall mural in the clean bathroom captivated me when showering and using the facilities, so much intricate detail and so unique. The aircon worked a treat, and the room fans were also wonderful. Outside in my private garden was a tap for hosing sandy feet/snorkels and a lovely outdoor shower (in addition to the indoor shower). It was my fourth visit to Lembongan, having stayed in a variety of two to five star facilities prior and various styles of accommodation. Artist villa was hands down the most authentic, and unique experience I've had in Lembongan and I highly recommend it to anyone who is fascinated with art and craft and loves to taste a bit of culture rather than your same same resort style. When you turn the lights on in the garden at night, prepare yourself to be instantly delighted at the beauty with carefully positioned lighting that accentuates the whole property. I enjoyed having the temple next door - how special, especially at night when it was softly lit up. Nearby were plenty of restaurants to chose from, and a short walk to Yoga Bliss where I was participating in a week of intense practice. Artist villa was the perfect retreat to return between yoga and beach sessions. I found it exceptionally comfortable to relax, unwind, read, journal, and focus on my journey. Sleeping was easy and the bedding was very clean and cosy. As a sole female traveler, I felt safe and secure at all times and thoroughly enjoyed every second.

− Everything was wonderful, my only regret that doesn't relate to the accomodation at all, was that I didn't realise how cheap the taxi's are until late in the week and I could have potentially done a bit more exploring to the other side of the island with ease. Previous visits to Lembongan my husband hired a scooter and I would ride on the back as I'm not comfortable riding scooters myself.
