9.0The building itself is a beautifully restored former monastery, offering a unique and memorable experience. Although the main entrance gate leads through an old courtyard that initially feels a little mysterious, it only adds to the charm and character of the place. Inside the room, everything has been tastefully renovated while preserving the building's historic atmosphere. The location couldn't be better, directly opposite the Basilica of Saint Mary 'Maggiore' and right in the heart of the old town. The city is vibrant, especially in the evenings, with plenty of lively streets, charming corners to explore, excellent restaurants, and it's only a short walk from the beach, where the sea was surprisingly warm. Our host, Giulio, was extremely welcoming, friendly and attentive. We also chose the breakfast option, which allowed us to choose between two nearby cafés. We decided to have breakfast at Cavour, and without exaggeration, it served the best croissant we have ever eaten! The room was beautifully renovated, very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our experience. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Barletta.
