6.0The hotel has beautiful gardens and the cabins were probably very nice 20 years ago. The room was ok but it looked like it was cleaned many days prior and then many bugs came in. Lots of dead bugs on the floor. The bed was ok and only a small spider under a pillow. Breakfast was good - typical Costa Rican food.

10.0This place is wonderful, a true relic of a simpler time. Beautiful property, with plants, birds, and a calm inviting atmosphere. The folks working are absolutely kind and hard working. The tipico breakfast was delicious and fajitas we tried one night were amazing! It is sad the city has grown around this gem! But we are so happy it is being kept up and beautiful!

8.0If you are looking for a peaceful place up in the mountains, this is a great site and affordable. But not amenities in the hotel and around it. No refrigerator,!coffee in the room, you have to wait till 7.00 am
