Excellent location for us

Quite disappointing
4.0I liked the location in Maitama. Safe and secure location. I also liked that the place was clean and presentable. Complimentary breakfast for 2 guests was also quite nice.
− I intended to stay 6 nights but ended up staying only one night. For the amount paid, I found the room not quite spacious. Also the room is not soundproofed so I could hear all the noise from outside- the ongoing construction outside, the mosque during their prayer time and even noise from reception. They didn’t have a smart TV and I was disappointed with the selection of what I could watch on the TV- I was told that this was already an existing project to get smart TV soon in the hotel. Another issue was the small curtain in the bathroom. It felt quite see through and I wasn’t 100% comfortable taking my bath in there during the daytime as I was worried I could be seen from outside. My biggest concern was the internet which was very poor throughout my stay. I expressed this concern severally to the reception staff who said they were going to work on it but there was no significant change throughout my stay. The internet seemed to work quite well outside my room, the lobby and reception so I am guessing that’s why my complaint wasn’t taken quite seriously. I did eventually address my concerns with the assistant manager the following morning and he was kind enough to offer solutions such as getting a router to my room and even offered changing to a different room and apologised about things that obviously could not be changed during my stay e.g the smart TV which I appreciated but opt for a refund to try another place instead and my refund for the remaining nights not stayed which I had paid for was given back to me in full in about 72 hours. For less than the amount paid here per night, I was able to get a room in a place still in maitama that was sound proofed, good internet, smart TV and better services- this made me realise I wasn’t asking for too much.

− The choice availabe on the breakfast menu was very limited and the size of the meal is paltry, plus the complimentary breakfast is for just one person
