8.0Great overnight stay at this comfortable accommodation. Ihad the twin room (curlew) with single occupancy, definitely snug but with amazing views and very comfortable beds. Tea/coffee facilities and special mention for the beautifully appointed bathroom and shower ensuite. Food in the restaurant was excellent, if a little on the higher price end. Have to mention that I found the breakfast menu ordering system very strange, felt very pressured to make a decision on the "tick" box sheet and when i did, the young lady followed me and told me that I "Could only pick one as they are individual meals and quite large" . She acquiesced that I "could have the porridge and toast, but not the cooked breakfast as well ". As a seasoned traveller who had stayed in four different places that week, I felt quite embarrassed, and feel that the tick box system needs to clarify the requirements much more clearly. Having said this, my porridge and toast was delicious and the breakfast staff were lovely. Very comfortable stay. Also note it was exceptionally quiet for a pub stay.

8.0Average stay, substantial hotel yet food not available after 19:45! So we had to go out for dinner. Room was ok, small double bed. Bathroom refurbished with a tiny narrow sink making it difficult to brush teeth & wash hands.
