− I was disappointed in the breakfast choice. I didn’t want a cooked breakfast and they could only offer me toast and marmalade.

8.0Good breakfast. Love the decor and the artwork and the reference to the Long Man of Wilmington chalk carving. Great location for Glyndebourne, Farleys, Charlston etc. Good value for the area. Nestled into the South Downs. A nice touch to have Glyndebourne programmes in each room.
− There is a traffic murmur from the A27, and a whiff of dogs in the corridors, but the rooms are clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee, and hairdryers.
Good location for nearby menu, adequate pub menu, good breakfast but noisy.
8.0Overall good location, lovely breakfast and comfortable room. Unfortunately it was just very noisy. We had a dog with us but the noise of other dogs in the property disturbed sleep. Possibly unlucky timing which was a shame.
