L’environnement général, la piscine très grande même si un peu froide et très bien entretenue, les aménagements (transats, table et chaises extérieures, les chambres avec pour la plupart une salle de bain), le grand parking privé , la propreté générale et la réactivité du gérant .

− Équipement incomplet ( pas de sèche-cheveux, manque de casseroles vu le nombre d’occupants, vétusté des casseroles et poêles disponibles, pas d’essoreuse à salade, percolateur ne fonctionnant pas bien malgré les détartrages par nos soins à plusieurs reprises) et surtout absence d’appareils de chauffage autorisés à l’intérieur. Nous avons eu très froids!

House and the surroundings are lovely. Especially with a nice weather it’s a gem. Plenty of rooms and common areas.

− Even though it was mentioned under important information, then paying extra for electricity is something new for me and the price is also rather high. Also there are no essentials included like soap, extra toilet paper or salt.

Traditional property with huge swimming pool

We loved the absolutely huge swimming pool (it is as big as it looks in the photos and temperature was just right when we were there mid-August). The many sun loungers, chairs and big tables with loads of crockery and cutlery were also good points. The house is traditional with many of the rooms being en suite or with their own bathroom just across the hall. The pool table was also a nice surprise. Towels were plenty and good (although you’d need to bring your own pool towels). The gardens were lovely and really big. The local restaurant Perla Nera is definitely worth a visit, their set menus were fabulous and great value for money and the welcome was warm.

− It wouldn’t take much to make this property something really special, only a few tweaks here and there (we gave specific feedback orally to the property manager at checkout who we hope took it in the constructive manner intended). Things like bins and soap dispensers in the bathrooms, mats to wipe feet when coming from outside (the evenings were quite stormy during our stay so outside dirt was walked in very easily), a dishwasher that washes properly (we washed up by hand in the end, a bit disappointing for the 10 of us), a lighter that works to light the gas hobs…Bring mosquito and horse fly repellent (although it would be unfair to say that is the fault of the property, they’ve been bad this year everywhere). It’s a proper country property, with neighbouring cockerels and all. A few essentials like salt, pepper and oil would have been useful and is usually available in house rentals. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property but there is so much potential.
