The property was beautifully designed, comfortable and the breakfast provided was delicious. The only downside was the courtyard was very brightly lit at night and the curtains were very thin white fabric which meant the room was not dark at nighttime and prevented me from a good nights sleep. The taxi was unable to get to the property due to the narrow streets so you need to carry your bags a short distance which is not a problem. One thing to be aware of and would apply to any property you stay at in central Bhaktapur, foreigners are charge $15 or 1800 rupees each to enter the main city area. This can cover you for up to 7 days but make sure you have the cash to cover it when you get a taxi to the guesthouse.

The organic breakfast made by Laxman and Sanu deserves special mention – it’s one of the best breakfast we’ve had in a long time! Amazing historical, quiet, and convenient location. Incredible hosts and a fantastic home made breakfast. The rooms, the building, the balconies, and everything else is well thought out and well designed. Highly recommended!
