De locatie: heel rustig en met de fiets op korte tijd naar het strand. Fantastisch gastheer: enthousiast, behulpzaam, correct, staat voor je klaar. Heel lekker gegeten waarbij je flexibel kan laten weten of je daar eet of niet en wat. Gezellige en comfortabele kamer. In contact gebracht met fijne snorkelgids waarmee we alle activiteiten deden. Het voelde als thuis! Niet twijfelen, de beste plek op Mafia Island.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft hat meinem Sohn und mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war sauber und komfortabel. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker und es wurde alles für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt getan. Auch Ausflüge (z.B. zum Schnorcheln oder Schwimmen mit Walhaien konnten über die Unterkunft gebucht werden. Alle waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Besitzer war sehr kulant.

Honestamente este alojamiento es lo mejor de Mafia! El desayuno es increíble, y la gente muy amorosa. Las habitaciones son muy amplia y cómodos. El entorno es precioso. Es para vivir una experiencia más local, no a ir a encerrarse a un lodge sin conocer la gente local. Queda como a 20 minutos de la playa caminando, y el hostal dispone de bicicletas que llegas mucho más rápido.

We had a wonderful stay here on Mafia Island and can highly recommend this place. Yes, it is a little bit outside of the main village but getting around is easy. With a bicycle you can reach the dive centers, shops and restaurants in just a few minutes. Cycling through the sandy paths might feel a bit challenging at first, but once you get the hang of it, it actually becomes a lot of fun. The accommodation itself was exactly what we were hoping for. Very clean, well equipped, comfortable bed, strong internet connection and excellent fans which made the warm nights much more pleasant. The real highlight, however, is Hassan. An outstanding host who truly goes above and beyond. From preparing individual breakfasts to having the bicycle ready when I was once again running late for a dive and even cheering me on to make it in time. We even returned again after a trip to the north of the island because we liked it so much. Asante sana to the whole crew. 🙏

− Maybe a few more outdoor chill areas like a hammock or some seating cushions would round the whole experience off even more, as the seating can get a little firm after a while. Other than that, everything was excellent. 🤩

Unser Bungalow war sehr süß – genauso wie die ganze Anlage. 😊 Auch das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg super lieb und hilfsbereit. 🥰 Hassan war bei Fragen oder kleinen Problemen immer direkt erreichbar und hat sich sofort um alles gekümmert. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war total unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas weiter im Landesinneren und nicht direkt am Strand – zu Fuß sind es etwa 20 Minuten. Normalerweise kann man sich Fahrräder ausleihen - die waren bei uns gerade in der Reparatur, aber auch zu Fuß war es gut machbar. 😊

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato qui per 3 giorni. Lo staff è stato sempre molto gentile e disponibile. La struttura è nuova e le camere accoglienti e pulite. Buona la colazione. Non essendo vicino alla spiaggia offrono le bici per poterla raggiungere ( servizio molto apprezzato). Il posto è in mezzo al villaggio e permette di vivere i suoni del luogo dai bush baby la sera ai galli e mucche al mattino!
