Great end to a week of traveling from Chicago to Mackinac Island to Pembine to Elkhart Lake!

The location is fantastic and so convenient to everything. We loved the ability to walk everywhere. ... the beach, downtown, the spa at the Osthoff. As always enjoyed the Tiki bar and band, dancing one night and listening from the hot tub another. The servers at the bar are great. Loved Sunday morning quiet time and paddle boarding! Downtown restaurants that we enjoyed ... Lake Street Cafe, afternoon wine tasting at the Vintage and the Paddock had the most amazing food! Our "Modern Pet Friendly Courtyard View" room was beautiful and had a lot of cute little touches such as items at the bar/kitchenette, the balcony, pool towels, sinks outside of the bathroom. Check-in was super easy, and our concierge "Jeff" was great to work with.
− We couldn't eat at the onsite restaurant for dinner because there was a large group who booked the entire restaurant- they were also very "present" at the beach each night for happy hour. I have stayed at many beautiful resorts throughout the world and this was overly expensive... and clearly price-surging for the weekend.

− Grossly misrepresented, totally overpriced, told not to go to front desk, room was never cleaned, never saw any staff, at no time should this be called a resort. It’s a short term rental of a room. Will not be recommending this nor will we be coming back. Received a text stating that the key cards for the amenities were not left behind and would be charged $200.00 They didn’t work so I had to go to the lobby to get another key. Would still be overpriced if only 1/2 the cost.

Parking and entrance not lit, trash in refrigerator, volume didn’t work on tv, had to bring in patio furniture to have a place to sit comfortably, not enough outlets around the beds, and needed to ask for Wi-Fi password. Clean, nice shower, well stocked with towels and coffee, good location, host was responsive, nice pool and games area
