It felt like paradise 💖
10.0Our stay at The Overhang was without a doubt one of the best holidays we have ever experienced. As a family with our three-year-old son, we spent a week in one of the beach tents – located directly by the calm ocean, offering a relaxed and almost private atmosphere. This place is especially ideal for families: our son could safely play in the sand right in front of the tent at any time and felt warmly welcomed everywhere. The restaurant deserves special praise. The cuisine is outstanding – fresh, beautifully presented, and offering many excellent vegetarian options. Every meal was a delight and clearly prepared with great care. A big compliment goes to the entire restaurant and service team, as well as the drivers – everyone was consistently friendly, reliable, and highly dedicated. We would especially like to highlight Adam and Phoebe, who are responsible for the service team and took such warm and attentive care of us. Our sincere thanks also go to Thomas, the General Manager, and Vinoth, the Food & Beverages Manager. Both are highly professional, always approachable, and play a key role in creating the special atmosphere of this place. Communication via WhatsApp was quick and uncomplicated, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A small note for future guests: the waves can be quite loud in the evenings, which may take some getting used to when the tent is closed. However, we found it much more pleasant to keep the tent open (with just the mosquito net, without air conditioning) and switch off the outdoor lighting. This way, you can enjoy a direct view of the ocean from your bed and fall asleep in a very relaxed way. Our little son slept through the night without any issues at all. If you are sensitive to noise, it might be helpful to bring earplugs. (Just in case) We loved being so connected to nature. And we loved that no TV was hanging around. For anyone seeking peace, quality, and a truly special getaway, The Overhang is exactly the right place.

8.0The view, the staff, the privacy of house. But the staff were phenomenal.
− One issue we had was the pool. Some other guests had a couple of very large inflatables which took up a large portion of the pool. It made it impossible for others to swim in the pool.
