8.0Medan is a nice boutique hotel. I was upgraded to an apartment because all the hotel rooms were booked, and it was quite comfortable, although a slight issue with the power when they forgot to switch me to the generator line after the power went out. Also, the air conditioner in Apt #2 does not work properly. The food in the restaurant could definitely be improved. Nothing very tasty. Very plain and industrial. No imagination. No flavor. Staff is friendly.

8.0Room and staff were excellent. Got very ill from a meal at Medan, so I wouldn't recommend the food. 45 minute wait for any food orders so they must order it in from somewhere else.
