The location was great for visiting both north and east of the southern coast. Viewing the horses and goats from our kitchen table was neat. There was an amenities shed were you could purchase snacks and beverages through a cash box. This was helpful since there were no stores in any immediate proximity. Coffee pods and milk was provided.

− We were surprised that for the price there was no servicing of the cabin. We spent three nights and only one towel was provided per person and never replaced (and was a thin towel which would be more hospitable if fluffy and bigger). I think the listing should indicate that there is no changing of sheets or towels during your stay.

A Perfect Stay on a Beautiful Horse Farm

We had an amazing stay and were absolutely delighted with this cabin. It has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The views from the cabin are stunning, overlooking a beautiful meadow with Icelandic horses, making every morning and evening truly special. Farm owner Greta was incredibly kind. She made our stay even more special by allowing our daughter, who absolutely loves horses, to spend time with them every day. It was an unforgettable experience for her and something we truly appreciated. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Iceland. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and we would happily stay here again!

We loved everything about this property! Lovely setting, peaceful and beautiful. Anything we needed was there and in the exactly right spot just when you needed it! What a great feeling! I honestly couldn't believe all the rave reviews, but then we stayed and I was like, this is the best place ever! I never want to leave!

We have traveled all over and stayed in many hotels and cottages and this stay was one of the nicest places we have stayed at everything is well thought out. The host even has a guide on how to use appliances in the unit (very nice because the the washer/dryer all in one was new to us) the views are the real headline here. Every time we looked out the window it was like a painting and it was constantly changing. The mother horses and their foals were adorable.
