Fine for what we wanted i.e. one night near where we wanted to be but too hot!

Location was good for what we wanted and for just the one night. Kitchen very clean and had everything we needed.

− The heating was on full blast 24 hours and not able to change. One of the beds was broken as well as a bedside table and the blind in the bedroom didn't stay shut. Uncomfortable sofas.

Clean but unexpected ‘extra’ requirements were intrusive.

− The extra ‘requests’ that were not on Booking.com when I booked. …. £250 held on Visa card for 3 weeks…. A lot of money when you’re travelling and using visa every day for food, fuel and booking future accommodation. …. Having to submit photo ID with our address on it. How do I know that this info won’t be used negatively???? ….. video cameras INSIDE the front and back entrance areas.

A really convenient, clean property best suited for two or three people

I believe we were the first to book this accommodation. It is a terraced house which has been newly decorated and equipped with furniture bedding, kitchen appliances and all equipment. Everything was spotless and mostly brand new. The one double and two single beds are very comfortable. The main shopping area bus and railway station are all a very short walk away.

− We were very disappointed when opening the door on arrival to find a large pile of mail and advertising leaflets on the door mat and a few spider threads across some areas, an indication that there had been no pre visit check carried out. We were a family of four adults. The living/ kitchen area is very compact absolutely perfect for two people but less so for four. There is, in our view, an unnecessarily large tv on a unit which takes up too much of the restricted space, far better to have a wall mounted set. The cups, saucers and cutlery are all limited to sets of four so if you want to invite a friend or relative around,(as we did), it is rather embarrassing to ask them to bring their own cups and plates etc. There are no wine glasses supplied, only four small glass tumblers. Parking is available on the narrow road outside the houses on both sides of the terraced streets, this leaves a very restricted space for driving through although it was possible with very much care. Our overall feeling is that all of the above, apart from the narrow street can be easily remedied to suit future visitors and is perhaps down to inexperience of letting rather than anything else.

Did the job. Functionally furnished and contact was very responsive, friendly and helpful

− We were asked to swap properties which we did but not 100% confortable with. Property was basic and pre contact was a bit over the top compared to normal booking.com experience.
