An Embarrassment to Hospitality – Avoid at All Costs

2.0

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at this hotel was so shockingly poor that I feel compelled to warn others. What was supposed to be a relaxing stay turned into a masterclass in hospitality failures within just the first few hours. **Service & Management: Nonexistent** From check-in onward, the staff treated guests as inconveniences rather than customers. Simple requests were met with indifference, and management might as well have been fictional—repeated attempts to speak with them were brushed off with "they're in meetings," with no follow-up ever coming. **Key Card Nightmare** The electronic keys failed repeatedly—four times in just a few hours. Each trip to the front desk for reactivation was met with the same blank stare, as if this were a normal occurrence rather than a glaring operational failure. **Unforgivable Policy: No Beach Towels** For a property marketing itself as a resort, the policy of not providing beach towels is nothing short of ridiculous. When questioned, staff coldly cited "hotel policy" as if that justified such a basic service failure. Meanwhile, the pool and beach areas were littered with hazards like broken glass and cigarette butts. **Misrepresented Facilities & Dirty Rooms** The reality bears no resemblance to the advertised photos. Entire sections of the property were closed off, either for indefinite "maintenance" or outright abandonment. My room featured stained linens, suggesting housekeeping cuts corners just like management does. **Nickel-and-Dime Exploitation** Unlike every comparable property in the area, this hotel charges even for drinking water by the pool. The restaurant—offering just three lackluster dishes—seemed like an afterthought. **Final Verdict** This isn't hospitality—it's a cynical operation preying on travelers. If you value your time, money, or dignity: cancel your booking if possible. Sleeping in your car or at a public beach would at least spare you the insult of paying for this disgrace.

Bad experience

I can keep this review short. For sure it is a nice hotel, but we did not stay there as they they did not stick to the (in writing) agreed upon price. On the very last moment we got an app just like that with a new confirmed more than double price. In a further app conversation there was no excuse, but just various times the blunt repeat of the new price. On the last moment we re-booked to the Grand East Dead Sea Resort. We got a much better hotel for an execptional deal combined with a superb service.

Great FB manager

Rooms are very spacious with large balconies. The pool has a swim-up bar and great views. The restaurants and bars feel like they are at the very beginning of a new project with room for improvement. However, the highlight of our stay here was the F&B manager, who was only very recently hired. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I believe that if this man is given the right tools and resources to fulfill his ambitions he can uplift this hotel and its outlets to rival the best hotels you can find at the dead sea.

Properly wasn’t in good condition. The front desk employees are not professional at all one of them was smoking a vape during my checkout. The breakfast was so bad quality food. It is even not a 1-star hotel
