Beetje verlaten hotel, maar wel goede kamers
8.0Zeer ruime en mooie kamer, perfect voor een gezin. Heel comfortabele bedden. Een mooie tuin. Goede uitvalsbasis om wandelingen te doen en Lake Placid te bezoeken (wel 25 min rijden ongeveer). Ik zou opnieuw boeken.
− We hadden een beetje een vreemde ervaring. Aangekomen op 4 juli in de avond: het restaurant was vol. Er is geen onthaal voor hotelgasten, alles moet digitaal verlopen, maar wij ontvingen geen kamernummer. Uiteindelijk wel opgelost geraakt. Na die avond hebben wij letterlijk niemand meer gezien tijdens ons 4 daagse verblijf, behalve een paar amdere gasten die ook wat verloren in het lege hotel rondliepen: het restaurant was leeg, niemand aan de bar, er is geen onthaal. We hoorden op de gang wel iemand poetsen in de kamers, maar verder leek het hotel compleet verlaten. Wij waren er ook tijdens het WK toen de US speelde, maar we zaten letterlijk enkel met ons gezin naar de TV in de lobby te kijken (die we zelf hebben opgezet).

1.0− Booked a handicap accessible room on one level. Multiple stairs were required to access room. Additional amenities, including soundproof walls (you could completely hear the conversation conversations in the next room and they were not talking loud) and coffee maker in the room were not present as well.
It has potential, but needs staff and a price reevaluation.
4.0I think this property has a ton of potential. The view is beautiful and the concept is great. We loved the little coffee shop.
− However, it was very confusing from the beginning. There is no staff to help you check in. Rooms were located down a maze that you had to figure out yourself. The key was in the doorknob. We ate dinner (2 appetizers) at the reserve which was very expensive for what it was. The people in the room next to us were up until 1:30 AM partying. The walls are so thin it sounded like they were in our room. I was so frustrated, I would have called the front desk in a normal situation. However, they don’t have any staff to run a front desk. Our noisy neighbors were up at 6:30 AM, slamming doors and talking full volume, going up and down the hallway repeatedly, waking us up. This trip was a Christmas gift to my spouse. Unfortunately, it was sadly disappointing.
