6.0The general look of the lodge was nice. We also liked the room, the bed was comfortabel and had different kind of plug connections, which allowed us to charge our devices easily.
− The payment process was a headache. They charged my credit card before arriving, but the charge comes from England in pounds, and my bank knows I'm currently in Zimbabwe so of course this was a suspicious transaction for my bank and they placed it under revision. Then, when we arrived after a 10 hours bus ride we were only given the key after giving a cash deposit. For the next 2 days there were alot of back and forth messages with the finance manager, who is not at the site, to try to sort out the issue. Finally we opted for cancelling the bank transaction and transferring the fee directly. One day later we got the cash deposit back. We understand that payment is important, but this issue was really tiring and stressing. We had to be chasing the people to have this sorted out, and had to do an extra ATM visit since they kept this deposit fee for 3 days. The employee at the site tried to be helpful but she seemed hand-tied given the instructions she received. We also realized the location is only convenient if you have a car. Public transport and taxis are scarce in the area and took some time to get one to pick us up
