4.0I expected a lot more based on the reviews, but I'm very disappointed. The building is still under construction. There was nonstop jackhammering from 10 am to 6 pm. The area is not good. It is walking distance to the African monument but no banks or supermarkets nearby, just one very overpriced restaurant. It takes almost an hour to go from this northern suburb to downtown Dakar, which is further south. Also the staff struggled with the basics. they asked if I wanted housekeeping and I said "not today, but I want it tomorrow." They asked me three times, and then the following day told me that my room wasn't cleaned because they didn't know if I wanted it....

10.0Great quality price ratio. It was conveniently next to an excellent brunch restaurant and very close to the lighthouse restaurant for dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The road leading up to the building is not paved due to ongoing construction and unclearly marked on google maps but this is a minor issue.

10.0Lighthouse staff were extremely friendly and professional. Ms. Maryam and Mr. Bandi were always available to answer questions AND/OR solve any issues. I’d recommend this place anyone looking for an affordable accommodation and very quiet area.
