Charming with character
9.0Charming with character, but as others mentioned could use a refresh. Not your generic tourist lodging. If you want a pristine resort feel, this is not your place. Room has charming nicknacks and paintings. Comfortable lounging spots both inside and outside. Right on the beach (thus the higher cost, but one of the less expensive spots in area). Good soft sand beach for surf barefoot walking, can go for a little more than a mile. Room did have refrigerator and microwave (they look old, but work). Included breakfast is nice, but not overwhelming. Hard boiled egg, 3 or 4 breads (coconut, banana, cinnamon where there each day), lots of fresh fruits, orange juice
− Water pressure is weak. Outdoor rinse spot very weak. Town (not individual sites) needs to spend money to clean trash from entire beach. Lots of trash mixed with seaweed just above the surf. They present the area as mid to upper level for tourist and the trash along the beach is just too much.

2.0Friendly staff. In the two bedroom cottage one of the two showers had good water pressure and the ac worked well.
− Old and not maintained. Broken appliance and shower handles, sliding glass door was off its track and wouldn’t open. It’s handle was broken too!
We would definitely stay here again!
10.0The management were impressively, helpful, and engaged. The property is incredibly close to the water. The unit we stayed in had an incredible amount of interesting decorative items. Most I didn’t really notice until the third day there. Multiple excellent restaurants can be found just a short walk down the beach. The property has small paddle boats and fishing rods available to enjoy!
