The lodge is romantic and serene. The breakfast was delicious. The room is very peaceful and the bed is very comfortable.

Nice stay but overpriced

Location was very good, the room was nice and a good size (we were in a King suite) but the bathroom was awful. You can’t fit two people in there and the shower leaked every time you took a shower so our bathroom flooded every day. The breakfast was nice but need more protein options. It’s a nice place but is not worth the money they’re charging.

On September 21, 2025, after driving more than four hours to Stowe, Vermont, I arrived to check in while holding my 2‑month‑old British Blue Shorthair kitten weighing under 2 kg very nice and smart kitten who is potty trained. Dogs were allowed, yet I was denied lodging solely because I had a kitten. There was no disclosure anywhere that cats were prohibited. On booking.com where we placed the reservation it says that pets are allowed and there is NO mention about that cats are not allowed, I would never book the reservation if I knew that cats are not allowed and drive hours there and then back to Boston. MA in complete dark in mountains totally exhausted and tired. This driving was very dangerous for us not only were exhausted and tired, but Irina is also struggling with pneumonia and had breezing attack during our drive back, so the hotel put Irina’s life and health in complete danger. Thus, discrimination, professional misconduct, rudeness and violation or our rights as consumers and as well as animal protection rights have occurred, we were in total shock to be honest with you. We have never experienced anything like this in our life. We were expelled late at night in mountainous conditions, hungry, exhausted, and forced to drive back another four hours, creating a real danger to my safety and life as we said above. They accused us in bring the kitten and violate their police despite the fact that on booking.com in their property police it says : " pets are allowed ". They said i had to check their own website , first time in my life I hear this nonsense , i must check the website of facilities if I reserve directly from them , yes i agree but I booked via Bookking.com its a reliable and very respectful source , thus I do not have to check the hotel's polices on their own website.

Cool ideas with the rooms, poorly executed. They do not care at all if you have any issues either. I’m so bummed I spent as much as I did for the stay that I had.

Great stay! Fantastic staff and breakfast was amazing. Also, great location and nice to have the hot tub after a day on the mtn

Vermont family vacation

Wonderful place, pure Vermont charm. Breakfast in the lodge was great, as were the cocktails at night. Hot tub, cold plunge and sauna were nice amenities.
