− There was nothing not to like, though if I were being picky the breakfast could be improved. Boiled eggs every day. It would be nice to have options of scrambled, omelettes, etc.
Great location and facilities
8.0Hotel is in a great location, close to Havelock tram station making sightseeing around the city easy and affordable. Our room contained quality equipment (hair dryer, heating/air conditioning, safe, hob, microwave, fridge, washer dryer, kettle) and amenities (restocked toiletries, toothbrush, premium filtered drinking water on tap). Room was serviced 3 times per week which was more than adequate, we preferred this rather than daily servicing. Complementary snacks and drinks, including some alcohol, were available each day from 5pm-7pm. Complementary tea, coffee and fruit juice was available 24 hours per day. Complementary wifi worked well. Small swimming pool to cool off with complementary beach towels and 5 sunbeds and some outside seating. Gym available if required. Breakfast was included with both cold and some hot food options.
− A few more coat hangers in our room would have been helpful (they may have been provided had we asked but we managed). A leaflet or TV page in our room to remind us of breakfast, snack times and checkout time would have been handy. The 200 Singapore Dollar charge for any breakages is still pending on the credit card even though we checked out 9 days ago. I have sent a message to the hotel. Breakfast tables were for 4-6 people, not great for people travelling as a couple who would have preferred to sit as a couple at breakfast and there weren't many of them. Hotel was used for outside events, sometimes the music was too loud. A notice to advise guests where to place their used dishes and cups after eating/drinking may have helped as some guests did not remove theirs.
