Very close to the beach

− Didn't get the caravan we booked due to 'moth infestation'. I had read a previous review, where the same thing had happened to someone else, so I emailed owner to ensure we would definitely get the caravan pictured. I was told I definitely would. But this was not the case. Seems strange that this has happened twice now. The caravan allocated to us wasn't up to the spec of the one we were supposed to have. Balcony was bowing, dirty curtains, kitchen bin had mouldy food under the bin bag, bathroom bin not emptied and had used sanitary items left in it, 2 toilets didn't have any blinds/curtains at the windows, they were partially frosted but obviously you can still see through. We asked for a fan as it was hot, was told housekeeping would move one from original caravan to the one allocated. This didn't happen. Lots of old chairs, mop buckets and rubbish chucked underneath caravan. I don't even know if the original caravan we booked that is pictured even exists to be fair. The Park Dean park is only a small one and we walked round it and couldn't see it. Bed was comfy and lots of storage were the plus points.

Great location, you can walk to the beach in 6 min

− Caravan was very messy, clothes moths were everywhere. My son had two allergic reaction to dust . Shower was completely blocked, honestly caravan needs proper deep clean . I would recommend the location but not the caravan itself.

N/A property changed at short notice due to double booking.

− Another property supplied with limited details no photos etc. Property was tired worn and dirty with owner who refused to discuss issues just kept talking over customer. Initial accommodation address checked and this didn’t match photos on Booking.com advert?? No occupants appeared to be there (double booking). In addition to the four photos supplied I have taken others which show dirty glassware, stained carpets/seat cover/cushions, empty bulb socket. There were no body/hair wash containers fitted as listed in advert or cleaning equipment such as dustpan and brush, vacuum, or liquid cleaner or cloths. Net curtains were ripped and frayed and there was a lack of cutlery. This was advertised as a six berth caravan (we booked a four berth) for three adults. There was one double bed and four children size singles unsuitable for a 6 ft male. We tried to fInd alternative local accommodation but there were none available.
