Our room was amazing. Great sized bed and very comfortable. We liked that they provided extra pillows. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pools were excellent and well maintained. Also great to have use of kayaks and paddle boards.

Amazing and comfortable beach resort

Great location! Includes hotel pick-up and drop off from/to the airport. My friend and I got the 2 bedroom 1 bath unit, which includes washer and dryer. The snorkeling is really great and saw a lot of different types of fish. The resort provides kayaks, SUPs, snorkeling gear, and life jackets. The restaurant offered breakfast (included), lunch/snacks, and dinner. There was also an Island night with Cook Island performances and a buffet of local foods. So good! Overall, had a wonderful stay!. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location and facilities right at your doorstep. Staff extremely accommodating and friendly. Food at restaurant delicious. Pool was a nice alternative for our 6 year old.

We had a fantastic stay at Resort Tava'e and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Aitutaki. The location is outstanding, right on the lagoon with amazing snorkelling directly in front of the resort. It was so convenient to be able to walk straight into the water and explore the reef. The complimentary snorkelling gear, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards were a fantastic bonus and provided hours of fun. We stayed in the two-bedroom unit, which was incredibly spacious and perfect for three people. The beds were very comfortable, and the large outdoor patio was a wonderful place to relax after a day exploring the island. We also appreciated having our own private laundry facilities, plenty of hanging space for clothes, and ample parking for both cars and scooters. The airport pick-up and drop-off service made arriving and departing completely stress-free, and we loved being welcomed with a beautiful fresh flower lei on arrival. It was such a lovely introduction to the warm Cook Islands hospitality.

− There are only a few minor improvements that could make the stay even better. The shower water pressure was quite low, which made washing thick, long hair a little difficult. It would also be helpful to have a mirror in each bedroom instead of only in the bathroom, and a few shelves in the bedroom wardrobes would make unpacking and organising clothes much easier.
