1.0− Hello, I would like to file a complaint regarding my recent booking. The listing stated that the house has 4 rooms, but when we arrived there were actually only 3 rooms, and one of them was so small it looked like a storage room. This is misleading. There were also several damaged facilities: • The bathroom door was broken and could not be locked. • The air conditioner switch panel was detached. • The TV remote had no batteries. After I had already paid RM600+ through Booking.com, the owner suddenly demanded an additional RM300 deposit via direct transfer, otherwise they would not give us the access card and keys. This was never mentioned in the property description. I had no choice but to pay. Later, the owner wrongly accused us of breaking a hanger and a bathroom mirror, even though my family confirmed these were already damaged before we arrived. Because of this, the owner unfairly withheld RM100 from the deposit.

− Told us 3 bed rooms. But one bedroom is like maid’s room and without aircond. Owner told us to bring the mattress out to sleep in the living room. Which is so weird as we are travelling as colleagues. The place is old, paint is old, bedsheet is like old grandma house bedsheet. Many things seem like falling apart like the light switch. Living room fan also not working. Sofa has all sorts of stains on it.
