The appartment offered all that we hoped for during our stay in Athens. The owner of the flat handed us the keys, and explained all that we needed to know about staying at the flat. The flat has all facilities, fully functional for an individual, a family, or a person teleworkining from abroad. Bus and metro stops very close to the flat.

− I would recommend that a microwave is added to the flat's appliances. As we teleworked during our stay, and did not have time for cooking, a microwave would have been ideal for heating up ordered food.

Flat: You will find that the images of the flat and reality is the same. Nice and new furniture, well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds. The flat is very spacious, with a living room and many terraces. Fridge is also large, which might be important in hot summer days. The flat is clean, coming with first class equipment (bed-linen, towels, accessories, Nespresso coffee machine). A/C is silent, brand new and will not disturb you during the night. Location: Ideal if you wish to combine sight-seeing and beach-hopping. If you wish to discover the old town you can easily reach the ΑΡΓΥΡΟΥΠΟΛΗ metro station and head towards Plaka. If you fancy beaches of the Athens Riviera, you can take Bus Nb 122 from the side of Praktiker and you will be ahead of fellow beach-goers and secure a seat for the long bus ride. My personal favourite beach is Limanakia A with a small beach bar. There is a huge bakery (with take-away dinner options available) 2 mins from the flat but bigger shops, like Lidl, Sklaventis are also 10-15 min walking distance. Restaurants are also close. I especially liked that the flat is not located in the tourist-trap area but where the locals live. Prices and services align with their needs. I think this is the best way to feel the Greek life-style. In the morning you will see people stopping by, buying their frape and sesame ring. Parking is possible on the street if you have a car. Your host Dimitris sent us a very detailed flat orientation prior our vacation. This included everything you need to know before you arrive and you can start planning even from home. He was really pro-active in suggesting ideas and he kept us informed during our entire stay. He is the host that you will want everywhere.
