Perfect apartment
10.0Very spacious, warm and clean. Every room was very comfortable and we slept very well. It is a peaceful location with only a short drive to Keswick. Wonderful views.

10.0Beautiful views, gardens, close to Keswick and major routes, wonderfully large rooms, very clean. Everything you could need was provided. The kitchen was amazing for catering for the family. We lived like royalty for a couple of days 😊
Quintisential Lakeland experience in a majestic setting
10.0I loved the overall charm and feel. It is a grand old building in beautiful gardens with incredible views.

9.0The building used to be a hotel. It was converted about 25 years ago into apartments. It has many interesting features, high ceilings, hidden doors etc. Kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of space. The views are fantastic - over to Catbells and the Newlands Valley. It is outside Keswick so you need a car to get to the Peasant, The Ivy House and The Horse and Farrier.
− Only grumble would be the showers. One in the main bathroom was only really a dribble, and in the en-suite the ceiling is angled so you can't really stand for a shower. Which was OK as you can use the bath.
