Charming place to stay with character
10.0I like that they took something historic and made it fun to visit. They have a daily agenda for their guests, everything runs like a clock there, they are very accommodating.
− Loud air conditioner, you can hear people above and in the hallways, lots of movement in the hotel due to constant activities.
We loved it and plan on returning
10.0It was in a beautiful spot , and the hotel was great.
− I wished they had microwaves in the rooms. I know it is an old building and it is probably a safety hazard, but we could heat up our leftovers from the restaurant.
Not what I was expected it to be.
4.0The room was beautiful.
− The room was way too small. No table to eat at. It was hot in my room, had to ask for a fan. View of outside was blocked from both windows. The ghost tour was a waste of my money. I bowed out early during the tour. Also I didn’t like being taxed twice for my room. I mean that’s how they get you. We were charged a resort fee and didn’t do anything. I went to get breakfast & was charged almost $5 for one egg and $5 for one piece of toast. Then the system wasn’t working correctly so I had to cancel my order. It wouldn’t take either of my debit cards.

− Getting to it!!! Driving the narrow curvy roads to get to it.
