Honesty in the description would have been nice and we will not be returning.

Great location within walking distance to Stinson Beach!

− The property was not cleaned or organized. A blanket separated a portion of the downstairs living area. Only our room and bathroom were available spaces. The bed linen had bloody spots on them. The bathroom is shared and down a flight of steep stairs. They had issues with the plumbing prior to our booking and never should have booked us to stay there. The water was off when we arrived, turned on overnight, then turned off in the morning for more repairs… nano bottled water was offered… No streaming service available, but there were VHS tapes lol. There was a coffee pot in our room without any coffee to put into it. The signage outside the house had $99 listed as the price and we paid over $200! The owners seemed nice in a standoff-ish way, but were dismissive regarding the water issue. The smoke detector was hanging off the wall but hard wired in and on. Parking was on the street and first come first served, so we did not dare driving anywhere for fear of losing the “spot.”

− It was dirty and really really old, packed with old stuff and because of it smelled in the rooms.

− When we arrived there was nobody there to check us in and the property manager was not home or accessible by phone. This is not a bed and breakfast this is a hoarder house. Every surface is covered in clutter and I have no idea the last time anything was cleaned, old food is out on the counters, dust is everywhere. We tried desperately to find another hotel in the area but could not and were stuck there. The room clearly was never cleaned. The towels provided were black and visibly dirty. The shampoo and soap provided in the bathroom were refilled with water to the point that they could not produce a lather. There were insects in the bathroom. There was no breakfast offered, not that we would trust anything cooked in this house. When we were speaking with nearby hotels, one worker referred to this place as a “horror house” which was accurate

− I didn’t mind the stairs to the very top room which had wonderful windows. Some people might find them challenging.

The location is great.

− The facility is not clean, very crowded no space for placing your personal belongings. The owner’s personal belongings are taking over every single draw in the room. Not clean and the whole house smells of old carpet and musty. The bathroom towels are very old with holes
