The location, size of the property, peacefulness and interior were perfect for our whole family including the dog. Set on a cow farm too which our grandson loved. We would happily revisit. Perfect for a family get together, lots of outdoor space to play and chill with stunning scenery. We never saw a soul, idyllic!

− Nothing really, but take extra outdoor camp chairs as not enough for all 12 of us.

Nice but in need of a bit of love

Lovely house in a stunning location. All the bedrooms were a really good size and had dressing tables. Separate toilets which meant we weren't all queueing to use a shower or toilet at once. Kitchen well equipped. The garden is lovely. Easy check in process.

− As others have mentioned, the house was really cold and took ages to heat up. It would be good to have it heated before we arrived. The large open plan living room is nice but cold. Needs maybe some rugs and a draught excluder by the back door. It is a shame you can't use the fire or log burner. Definitely need to supply more toilet roll, tea towels and sponges for cleaning for a house of that size. The dishwasher didn't work properly and left the dishes dirty. As others have mentioned, the house could do with a bit of love. It didn't detract from the stay really, but it could benefit from a deep clean and some repairs (cupboard handles, door latches etc), and there was mouse poo under the sofas when we arrived. It rained one day we were there and it appears the chimney is leaking and causing damp to the wall in one of the bedrooms,

Big house with 6 bedrooms Good rural location

− Heating stopped working so no heat from radiators for 1 full day and 2 nights. No other heating source available. Cleanliness poor. Needs a deep clean.

Great place !

Downstairs was a great size for a large group. Bedrooms were large too. Kitchen had most things we needed . Beds were comfy. Nice location, rural and remote. Garden would be lovely in summer.

− It was cold downstairs for the majority of the stay and took 24hours to heat through when we arrived . Would be better if log burners were useable , would have been warmer. Also would be good to put heating on to warm up before guests arrive.

− Cleanliness, lack of basics ie toilet roll, salt n pepper, the house needs minor fixes ie cupboard to washing machine, strip of kitchen top coming off in kitchen, shower head in downstairs bathroom Loose, en suite light cord was snapped,
