Sadly nothing

− I have been to so many Almas rooms from different hosts. I am usually not fussy but this one was the worst experience I had. It was so bad I even wanted a refund. There was no wardrobe to keep our clothes. The side lamps had burnt marks on the shades when we came in. And when I turned it on, it gave out a burning smell I had to stop using it for my kid's safety. Unlike other Almas hosts, this room does not provide any toothbrush or toothpaste. Only two towels available. Bath&shampoo were 2in1s so only one bottle was prepared in the toilet. No place to hang towels. When i went for a shower I got scalded by the hot water twice. I fell in the toilet the first time because I was shocked by the sudden heat. I am glad it was me who got burnt and not my child. I was so upset I actually wanted to seek compensation. No matter how we turned the shower, the water stayed consistently hot. Very hot in fact. What made me confused was the water stayed hot even after we turned off the water heater outside. A simple shower became like a brainstorming session as my family and I tried to get the water to be cold. It was my first experience of having to not shower at all during a stay . Because none of us could figure out the shower temperature and it was definitely a safety hazard . I had to refrain my children from going to the toilet. It spoiled the whole experience. I was truly disappointed as it wasn't the cheapest host operator on the list for that day too . When my child woke up from sleep, there were ants on her side of the bed too. Crawling from under the bed. And she got bitten. The only good thing was that the host was easy to contact and responded fast. For the price, I don't really expect a perfect stay but this one really made me cry because it was short of everything. I hope the host will improve on these. Especially in ensuring it is safe for the guests.
