9.0Lovely handy location right next to the castle and restaurants, comfy beds, lovely big living room with views over the main street, everything you could need in the kitchen.
− Wasn't a problem for us but the property has a lot of stairs, strange smell in the entrance which seemed to improve the second day,
Spacious central house in Alnwick
8.0Amazing location, couldn't be closer to town centre and Alnwick Castle. Spacious clean quirky old house close to restaurants and pubs
− Nothing really. Lots of internal stairs and odd nooks and crannies which gave the house character. Had an issue with the boiler which we reported and couldn't get TV working but that was probably our ignorance regarding modern technology

10.0All the bedrooms where beautifully decorated plenty stuff to use in the house. Very easily accessible as me and my partner where getting married on Tuesday 19th so was in the perfect spot for all restaurants and local attractions faultless

This is a lovely property, the location was great but some ‘fixes’ are required.
8.0The property was very well presented, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect.
− There is a need for advice about car parking in the town. The property has only 1 parking space but will sleep up to 6 people so there will often be a need for 2 or 3 cars to be parked. Also the TV did not work for most channels. There was an unpleasant odour inside the rear entrance that seemed to be coming from drains. The heating radiator in the Castle View bedroom didn’t work.
Nice, large property in town centre
9.0Central location in town centre with parking space Large property with multiple bathrooms which was great. Clean and warm. Beds were comfortable. App for property guide - great idea Dishwasher tabs and cleaning products included
− Could do with more tables in sitting room within reach of sofas/chairs. Beer glasses (Pint tumblers) we were kindly lent these from pub downstairs!!! Overly zealous communication from rental company, before during and after stay - some of which was rather negative in tone, constant reminders of rules etc As others have commented - property not easy to find from rear entrance/car park space at back. Much clearer directions needed.
